Job Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY RECREATION SPECIALIST in the AC/S, Marine Corps Community Services, Semper Fit & Commercial Recreation of MARINE CORPS RECRUIT DEPOT.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing the daily operations of an aquatics recreation program including training personnel, preparing financial reports and organizing special events. You will be responsible for adhering to and enforcing command policies and procedures; involved in the interview process and selection of candidates for civilian positions.
You will develop performance standards and performance appraisals records for civilians.
You will establish, post, and enforce base policies and procedures developing, planning, scheduling and managing the operations and work assignments of facility personnel.
You will plan, develop, coordinate and conduct training for civilian staff. You will initiate and approve a variety of personnel actions to include leave, awards, and promotion recommendations.
You will resolve personnel, performance and/or discipline problems and give advice, counsel or instruction to subordinates.
You will find ways to improve production or increase the quality of work directed.
