You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the REGIONAL PROGRAMMING AND RESOURCES DIVISION of MARINE CORPS BASE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting budgeting analysis, formulating a current fiscal year budget from diverse input data, documenting the release and obligation of funding, and communicating findings and issues to senior leaders and managers to assist in mission planning and execution. You will assist in interpreting and developing regional programming policies, practices and procedures to maintain and improve financial management operations.
You will assist in drafting, staffing and issuing of programming guidance to establish the timeline for development, review, and approval of program plans.
You will monitor appropriated funds commitments and obligations to analyze effectiveness of budget allocations, recommend savings to support command priorities, and ensure execution does not exceed budget authority.
You will conduct research and assist in drafting policies and procedures in accordance with all applicable regulations.
