Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Provides technical, analytical, and administrative support, to develop and maintain Region and installation-level EM plans that align with applicable plans, procedures, and policies of other Services and federal organizations and agencies; Researches, compiles, sorts, and evaluates information and data to determine its relevance and applicability to Regional EM requirements; Coordinates with existing assessments and integrates their findings into the final risk calculation; Identifies hazards and determines their relative probability of occurrence and associated consequence factors and performs a capability assessment to determine associated needs from capability shortfalls. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will facilitate the preparation for, response to, and recovery from any all-hazards incident or event, thereby minimizing operational “down time” with rapid shore-based response and restoration.
