You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of TACTICAL TRAINING GROUP PACIFIC. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: formulating budget and estimates and utilizing an automated financial system to report on obligations and expenditures. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of budget administration for the program and administrative operations.
You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets or financial records.
You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities.
You will be involved in the development, determination and interpretation of budgetary policies and practices.
