Job Description:
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the INTERFACE ENGINEERING & ASSESSMENT DIVISION, MEASUREMENT SCIENCE & ENGINEERING DEPT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalency), in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing leadership of managing processes and analyses of projects by collaborating with subject matter experts to identify and monitor metrics to develop process improvements and ensure compliance for an organization. You will serve as the Measurement Science and Engineering Department Operations Manager.
You will document, maintain, execute, and improve department processes for management of projects, finances, assets, personnel, metrics, technical capability sustainment, contracting/purchasing, Information Management, and continuity of operations.
You will collaborate with operations managers in other departments, division level operations managers, and command/headquarters level business and operations personnel to ensure compliance and continuity with higher level policies and processes.
You will lead strategic planning initiatives, improvement initiatives, customer/employee satisfaction surveys, data calls, conference approval, work acceptance, work assignment, and definitized tasking requirements.
You will coordinate with Department subject matter experts to identify key measures for the Command ESG dashboard to review organizational performance and document efforts to reduce costs.
You will identify and work effectively with customers and other stakeholders internally and externally.
