Job Description:
The incumbent serves as Clinical Applications Coordinator (CAC) and provides support of multiserviceclinical software applications: Electronic Health Record (EHR), Patient Care Component (PCC),Text-Integration Utility (TIU), Health Summary, View Patient Record (VPR).The duties involve support for these packages and training individuals.Incumbent works under the Director of Nursing providing support in implementing a comprehensive,standardized, integrated health care information system.

BASIC REQUIREMENT(S): General Health Science Series 0601 Education: Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree: major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position. This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained. In addition to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: GS-11 Grade Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: implementation integration and support of the Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS) and ancillary software packages; efficient performance of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) by ensuring accurate health data capture, display and output; monitoring for new EHR and clinical application updates and planning for the smooth implementation of new features., or Three (3) years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or Combination of education and experience that when combined fully meet the minimum qualifications for this position. The total percentage equals at least 100 percent to qualify for this GS-11 grade level. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
Health Information Technology Management including implementation, training and support of multi service software. Informatics Leadership & Program Management including analyzing and evaluating processes related to information flow and service as a liaison between service lines related to these processes. Modernization and Innovation including working with various departments and their staff in refining and evaluating of existing health related software modules and programs.
