Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Information and Technology, Field Support Directorate. Location is negotiable to the following locations: El Paso, TX Ashburn, VA Lorton, VA
Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Advising, strategic planning and implementing methodologies and procedures within the directorate Developing effective data handling processes and standards in support of the office's line and administrative programs Organizing, developing, and coordinating management efforts through briefings, presentations, and conferences Determining the applicability, effect or ramifications of new or proposed policies, CBP/OIT directives, and other department requirement decisions NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible. In this position, you will serve as a Program Manager within a program office of OIT and perform duties that defines critical quality factors, process improvements on key initiatives that result in significant improvements. This position starts at a salary of $124,531.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $161,889.00 (GS-14, Step 10). This position will allow you to provide expert advice and analysis to management on a wide range of administrative programs having department wide impact.
