This vacancy is for an International Trade Compliance Analyst (Recent Graduate) in the International Trade Administration within the Department of Commerce under the Pathways Recent Graduate Program.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. This experience need not have been in the federal government. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies; knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized experience: To qualify at the GS-11 level: You must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: - Analysis and/or application of US Antidumping/Countervailing Duty (AD/CVD) laws; and - Application of international financial and business concepts to US AD/CVD law; and - Preparing briefings, correspondence, reports, and/or memoranda related to AD/CVD law; and - Conducting research, gathering evidence, performing analysis and presenting findings related to AD/CVD law OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related OR Combination of education and experience
As an International Trade Compliance Analyst (Recent Graduate), you will perform the following duties: As an International Trade Compliance Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Assist in the preparation of oral presentations which reflect issues raised by Stakeholders and Teams. Assist in the analysis and evaluation of data; attend meetings, briefings and hearings; assist with data verification. Enforce AD/CVD Laws through proceedings by performing analysis and research and implementing results. Assist in the research and analysis of US AD/CVD International related regulations and make recommendations.
