Job Description:

You will serve as a Supply Management Specialist of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating an expert knowledge of all aspects of supply chain and performance management in automated systems such as ERP. Specialized experience must include some or all of the following: 1) Developing and overseeing supply chain management policy and business processes, including sales and operations planning; 2) Develop sales and operations planning metrics and perform analysis using automated systems; 3) Provides guidance and expert advice to peers, customers, and upper management on all matters including supply chain management process changes, system enhancements, readiness, and supply processes related training; and 4) Provide guidance and support on all supply and logistics management operations as they apply to policy, procedures, and operations of automated systems. You will have a detailed understanding of the missions and operations of Navy shore and afloat activities, the naval logistics mission and supply chain management policies and procedures for the Department of Defense.
You will have the ability to apply standard Navy supply policy, procedures and business process to implementation procedures and business policies incorporated into Navy ERP and other Department of Navy Logistics IT Systems.
You will be able to react quickly to pressing obligations generated from customers, senior management, Congressional inquiries, or from higher echelons.
You will participate as an expert authority in NAVSUP wholesale planning execution and related business processes.
You will be able to manage the life-cycle logistics of the business processes relating to supply chain management.
