Job Description:

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Comptroller Department (01) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $156,755).
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and interpreting financial data to present financial reports and resolve financial management issues maintaining compliance with current laws, rules, and regulations in support of a working capital fund field activity. You will lead other individuals in funding requirements analysis and will perform administrative functions to include preparing, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting financial data.
You will use financial information to recommend solutions to complex management problems.
You will work with internal financial managers and will be responsible for preparation and analysis of: funds management team metrics, financial statements, and drumbeat metrics.
You will work with internal financial managers and will be responsible for preparation and analysis of: SharePoint development and resulting reports, funds document closure of expired funding, and General Terms and Conditions tracking.
You will advise on: Outgoing Fund Document Undistributed Obligations (OFD UDO), Unfulfilled Customer Orders (UFCO), and will oversee reconciliation of Dormant Accounts.
You will promote effective customer service and will interpret funding related policies, procedures, and instructions.
You will work with the Budget Officer to perform root cause analysis on issues where cross-divisional issues occur.
