Job Description:
You will serve as a Branch Head and Supervisory Engineer/Scientist, in the Avionics Engineering Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
In addition to Basic Requirements, you resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (NM-03) or equivalent grade level (GS-9/12) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Supervisory Electrical Engineer, Supervisory Computer Engineer, Supervisory Electronics Engineer, and/or Supervisory Computer Scientist. Examples of specialized experience include: (1) Serving as a subject matter expert on managing, developing, and testing Radar, Antenna, Electronics Warfare Systems, and related avionics systems/components; (2) Performing systems engineering research, development, and life-cycle support to accomplish avionics system program goals and objectives; (3) Overseeing and assigning work assignments to subordinates, based on organizational priorities, selective consideration of difficulty and requirements of assignments, and/or capabilities of employees; (4) Providing project/program management to meet cost, schedule, and performance requirements for avionics system project/program; and (5) Functioning as a liaison with internal and external contacts to ensure assigned program needs are addressed and program goals are met.
