You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: - Providing authoritative guidance for technical and administrative operations; AND - Serving as a project leader or program coordinator in executing the daily responsibilities of facilities and support services programs. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a nontemporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
This position is located at Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Assistant Administrator - Management CFO - Acquisition and Facilities Management Division. As a Program Manager, you will: Serve as principal advisor to management officials and customers on acquisition strategy and management. Represent the Bureau in interagency, high-level Federal Government conferences and meetings. Ensure that occupational safety and health, equal employment opportunity (EEO), and internal control principles, policies and procedures set forth by the bureau are complied with regarding all management decisions and courses of action undertaken by the Division. Provide leadership in establishing and maintaining effective management processes and determine the appropriate organizational structure and functional alignment for the division.
