Job Description:
This position is located in Immigration Records and Identity Services Directorate, Identity and Information Management Division, Application Support Center Operations Branch. As a Supervisory Program Manager, you will direct and lead a diverse team responsible for providing virtual oversight and support to multiple Application Support Centers and ensure accurate identity establishment to support the USCIS immigration mission.

GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties: Serve as a subject matter expert for a diverse work group including various federal agencies and contractors; preferred experience managing biometrics or identity related projects; Supervise and direct staff; Develop and implement operational and long-term plans supporting broader organizational goals and objectives; Develop relationships with stakeholders across directorates and agencies to enhance key projects and initiatives; Utilize a wide range of techniques to communicate orally and in writing. Responsible for maintaining knowledge, providing guidance, liaising, and leading projects related to biographic and biometrics identity management and immigration information.
Serve as an expert analyst and advisor to agency executives on major mission or administrative programs requiring resolution of identity data and solving immigration information related issues to accomplish the USCIS mission.
Lead a team responsible for directing, implementing, coordinating, and overseeing major U.S. government-wide biometrics, identity, and information management policies, operations, and programs.
Responsible for day-to-day supervision and overall direction to subordinates who are responsible for provide virtual oversight and support to multiple Application Support Centers, ensuring all operational, policy and legal requirements are met.
Establish and carry out specific action plans for accomplishing short-term goals and objectives through setting performance objectives and monitoring.
Coordinates with stakeholders outside of the IIMD to create new policy or adjust current guidance to accomplish the USCIS mission.
Develop and prescribe procedures and techniques and furnishes guidance to subordinates. Assigns and explains work requirements to subordinate staff to achieve efficiency of services rendered while increasing productivity.
