Job Description:
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in a program office within the Program Executive Office for Tactical Aircraft Programs (PEO(T)).
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Formulate budgets and support plans; 2) Perform program funds execution and integrating financial business methods and practices with the acquisition requirements for the PEO; and 3) Analyze financial and budgetary relationships to develop recommendation and/or budgetary actions under these types of conditions and time pressures; 4) Monitors and reports financial execution status, and directly contributes to the production of budget exhibits; 5) Responsible for the associated financial records and reconciliation of commitments, obligations, and expenditures, to ensure accountability of program's funds. You will serve as senior advisor and liaison on financial management policies, providing guidance on budget, accounting, and fiscal compliance.
You will lead and support planning, execution, and evaluation of financial operations across major programs, ensuring alignment with mission priorities.
You will analyze and report on program execution, funding variances, and audit findings; recommend corrective actions and viable alternatives.
You will develop and communicate financial data, reports, and tools to inform leadership decisions and ensure integrity of appropriated funds.
You will track and certify commitments, obligations, and expenditures in accordance with budget plans, fiscal law, and internal control requirements.
You will coordinate financial planning for acquisition milestones, program reviews, and external reporting (e.g., FMB, GAO, DoDIG).
