Job Description:

This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command.
You may qualify at the GS- 14, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: Interfacing with military and civilian agencies/organizations for the management and direction of assigned programs and acquisition requirements, including contracting operations, and development. Planning, directing, and integrating contract support of an agency within cost, schedule, performance and system supportability requirements. Overseeing the support agreements process, including those memorandum of agreement, memorandum of understanding, and specific support agreements. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
As a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST at the GS-0343-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Responsible for the formulation, presentation, and defense of JECC's Program Objective Memorandum (POM). As Division Chief, plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Division. Manages varied activities within the purview of the Programs and Contracts Division, and serves as an expert advisor for assigned areas to the J58 Director and the JECC Commander. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Serve as the Acquisition Manager and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for JECC and its subordinate elements. Ensure agreements that relate to the JECC and its subordinate elements, as well as those USTRANSCOM agreements that support JECC's portfolio, are properly tracked and managed.
