Job Description:

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the BUDGET EXECUTION BRANCH of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG SYSTEMS COMMAND PAC.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Researching and compiling data to be used by management for decision-making; 2) Interpreting regulations, policies, and operating instructions applicable to financial management/accounting systems operations; 3) Reviewing and evaluating budget requests, control and reporting of obligations and expenditures; and 4) Responding to inquiries on financial matters utilizing various forms of communications. You will analyze and reconcile financial data and reports for accuracy and reliability in accordance with appropriate laws, rules and regulations.
You will perform work in conjunction with accounting systems involving analytical, forecasting, and interpretive functions associated with the management and control of resources or funds.
You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary, and financial information and prepare summaries for use by managers and properly post accounting entries and resolve suspended transactions.
You will apply financial management laws and regulations.
You will assist in budgeting to support plans, programs, and activities.
You will assist business lines with budget execution and obligation issues.
