Job Description:
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Mine Warfare Program Office (PMS 495) of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (or GS-13 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading the analysis of financial data or reports to identify funding requirements, resource shortfalls, financial condition or trends for an organization. You will generate, recommend and implement new and revised financial management concepts, methodologies, policies, and strategies in support of the organization's programs.
You will direct and perform continuing program execution review, analysis, and appraisal of the major operating and support programs.
You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program financial status and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.
You will coordinate programming, budget development, budget execution, and respond to data calls from PEO, Comptroller, and Resource Sponsor for cost/performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization.
You will serve as principal advisor to leadership on the development, implementation and revision of financial management plans and programs to facilitate the effective, efficient, and timely application of financial resources.
You will evaluate financial issues of consequence raised in audit reports, budget execution reviews, and other forums and recommend corrective actions.
You will demonstrate mastery of concepts, principles, laws and regulations of financial administration or budgeting sufficient to generate new concepts and methodologies in the field or theorize, plan and direct entire financial or budgeting systems.
