SELECTIVE FACTOR: This position requires that the incumbent must possess and maintain a current and valid State or District of Columbia Journeyman Electrician's license. A copy of your State or District of Columbia Journeyman Electrician's License will need to be provided at the time of your application. If you are not able to provide proof that you possess a Journeyman Electrician's License, your application will be withdrawn from consideration. Candidates who do not meet this requirement by close of this announcement will receive no further consideration for this position. The major duties of the Electrician Supervisor position include, but are not limited to, the following: Serves as a facility management expert and member of the park management team to develop and implement management strategies. Assists in the park's annual preventive maintenance schedule and annual operating programs for the electric shop. Provide technical advice, guidance, and support in the oversight of existing and proposed park facility buildings and utilities. Must be able to plan and lay out electrical systems from drawing and must interface new work with existing systems. Responsible for identifying and correcting job safety and health hazards.
