This position is located at Outdoor Adventure and Travel Center Snack Bar- Belay Cafe. This position is eligible for the NAF benefits package and leave accrual. 1. Must have cash handling experience to include direct handling of cash items, and use of cash accountability control methods. 2. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, stressful environment. 3. Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred are those candidates that have experience in supervising and training staff. *A copy of a valid driver's license must be uploaded at time of application. *Highly preferred candidates will be referred to management first. Highly preferred is defined as meeting the criteria listed below: Currently possess a ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency. Experience must be clearly reflected in resume to qualify. Certification must be clearly reflected in resume and/or a copy uploaded with application to qualify for highly preferred.
Assists the Business Manager in directing the operations and supervision of a food serve facility, with up to 12 employees; Checks work in progress to ensure compliance with established methods.
Orders and receives supplies, stores and stocks supply items in all assigned facilities.; Responsible for cleaning, inventory, stocking and organizing each facility on a daily basis; Performs food service and cashiering duties as required.
Completes cash reports, and makes daily deposits; Maintains clean and orderly work areas; Orients new employees to work situations, compliance with health and safety standards, proper use and storage of tools and equipment.
Provides information to workers regarding procedures, policies, written instructions and other work directives; Occasionally may be required to work in any of the food service facilities when necessary; Provides administrative support as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
