Job Description:
You will serve as a DIRECTOR, S-5 DIRECTORATE in the S-5 DIRECTORATE of MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing strategic planning guidance and direction to Marine Air Ground Task Force elements to support Operation Plans (OPLANs) and Concept of Operations plan (CONPLANs); Defining objectives AND setting milestones to approach AND solve policy issues affecting critical strategic programs that affect mission, organizational structure, strategic initiatives, AND operational support. You will extensively with tenants including III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) elements.
You will represent the interests of MCBH and the Marine Corps in meetings and conferences with senior civilian officials (elected and appointed) at the local, state, and federal level.
You will provides expert counsel and recommendations to the Commanding Officer on strategic plans, government and external affairs, and communication strategy.
You will analyze MCBH requirements to support existing plans for the reception and onward movement of U.S. based forces, intermediate logistics staging areas, and sustained Base Operating Support and Airfield Operating Support (BOS/AOS) activities.
You will oversee COMMSTRAT operations that provide recommendations and advice to MCBH and subordinate units on policies, plans, and programs promulgated by higher headquarters
You will direct the assimilation and integration of organizational data to support cost and performance management and determine appropriate levels of service.
