Job Description:
You will serve as a SUPV FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Comptroller Department, Accounting Division of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical expertise and advisory services on all phases involving accounting, budget or financial management processes or procedures to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations. You will serve as the senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization.
You will direct and/or perform continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization.
You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.
You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution.
You will coordinate the development and reporting of cost/performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization.
You will promulgate approved financial management policies within the organization based on DON policy and develop and issue implementing procedures.
You will plan work set priorities and schedules as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse effect on regular and recurring work.
You will assign work to subordinates based on employee's capabilities, priorities and difficulty.
