Job Description:

In addition to the basic education requirement, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As an engineer leading, managing, and conducting safety risk management processes for nuclear weapon development to include the establishment of requirements and policies, assess and track implementation and efficacy of safety programs across multiple major programs. You will lead, manage and conduct the safety risk management processes to include the establishment of requirements and policies, assessment and tracking of technical branch developed subsystems, and generation and conduct of safety board reviews.
You will Directs, leads and manages development of complex system safety development activities, including management of technical performance and funding.
You will be a subject matter Works closely Conventional and Nuclear weapon system safety staff, to ensure continuing alignment of the SSP Safety program. expert in DoD, Navy, and SSP Nuclear Weapons Safety requirements, policies and processes.
You will support Weapons System Safety Integration and Compatibility and representing at meetings and conferences to participate in general management and coordination and engineering management policies and procedures.
You will work closely Conventional and Nuclear weapon system safety staff, to ensure continuing alignment of the SSP Safety program.
