For the NH-02: In order to qualify for this position you must meet the basic education requirement for this position outlined in the education section of this announcement (see below Education section). For the NH-03: In addition to the basic education requirement, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer, managing the planning, installation, implementation or sustainment of mechanical or electrical systems for a weapons system program. You will serves as a General Engineer responsible for providing strategic and tactical missile and Reentry System engineering support for SWFLANT production areas, the Fleet, and other designated activities.
You will exercise continuing oversight over contractor plans governing a complex of facilities, equipment, machinery, and operations to be installed for accomplishment of SWS mechanical and electronic system/component processing.
You will perform comparative analyses of resulting plans against contractor developed plans for accomplishing the subject processing operations.
You will administer continuous surveillance over contractor implementation of approved SWS electronic and mechanical system/component processing approaches.
You will represent SWFLANT in dealing with a variety of organizations concerned with SWS/AWS electronic system/component processing operations.
You will conduct continuous assessment of SWS electronic and mechanical system component technology to identify and incorporate the latest requirements into processing operations.
