are growing! Kohler is nearing completion on a new 1 million-square-foot
manufacturing facility on 200 acres in the industrial corridor of Casa Grande,
AZ. We are looking for passionate talent to join our team. This
role will be based at our Casa Grande facility once it is open. The role
will work fully onsite.

What We’re Looking For:
As a Team Leader (Material Handler)
for Kohler Co., you will be an ambassador of the Kohler brand and the Vikrell
product line. In this role, you will be
responsible for training all new Material Handler associates on the essential
functions of the role. You will function
as a role model in safely, responsibly, and efficiently performing the role, including
loading & unloading trucks for shipment & receiving, determining
loading patterns, keeping records of materials loaded and unloaded, taking
inventories, and assisting in the removal of scrap. You will autonomously assign and perform housekeeping
& 5S work throughout every shift and direct your team members to do the
same. You will work 8-hour shifts for 5
days and work will include sitting, standing, bending, twisting, and
lifting. You will be an ideal candidate
if you have a natural work ethic, sense of urgency and enjoy training and
creating a highly functioning team.
Your Job Duties:
Properly, effectively, and enthusiastically train new Material Handler associates on all essential functions of the Material Handler roleConstantly and consistently coach and mentor less tenured Material HandlersConduct daily placement and direction of associates in the work areaOperate materials handling equipment, including a forklift
Ensure correctness (amount, type, etc.) of any material loaded and determine loading patternsNotify the appropriate personnel, supervisor, and/or manager of any loading problemsInspect material handling equipment and notify supervisor and/or manager of improper conditionsAssists in the removal of scrap as requiredPrepare and ship LTL shipmentsClean and otherwise prepare vehicles for loadingTransport finished goods to and from designated areas, including offloading transfers properlyPlacement of goods, including properly scanning product(s), into designated locationPerform bin-to-bin transactionsVisually inspect packaging for damageAssist in off-loading, as necessaryPull and stage parts for shipmentsStrive to attain and maintaining established standards of productivity, quality, safety, and good housekeeping in your assigned area on every shiftOperate materials handling equipment according to plant safety rules and regulationsExercise informal corrective discipline in a positive and coaching manner, as neededWork in a safe and orderly manner and practice good 5S and housekeeping at all timesRelieve team members for lunch, personal periods, and absenteeismPerform other related duties consistent with the nature of the job, as directed by the Supervisor or ManagementComplete and maintain training on all applicable SOPs, LOPs, policies and procedures
