Job Description:
You will serve as a LEAD LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the STRATEGIC MOBILITY BRANCH of MARINE FORCES PACIFIC.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advising the Commander in logistical matters (e.g., Special Assignment Airlift Mission (SAAM), En-Route support of Transient Aircraft (ESTA), Aeromedical mission capabilities requirements and etc.) for all air/surface mobility to support operations according to mission goals. You will plan, analyze, and coordinate Special Assignment Airlift Mission (SAAM) requirements.
You will review and validate airlift requirements for special pick up or delivery at points other than established Air Mobility Command (AMC) routes.
You will assist and ensure accurate and timely processing, planning, and coordination of aeromedical evacuation missions, commercial, strategic, and theater SAAM airlift routes.
You will serve as a subject matter expert on Strategic Airlift platforms and Aerial Port of Embarkation/Debarkation (APOE/D) locations and capacities.
You will maintain statistical data on all costs, requirements, aircraft utilization, passengers moved, short tons of cargo moved, delays, etc.
You will resolve problems associated with the planning, scheduling, automated systems, and application of airlift capability.
You will maintain program and administrative reference materials, project files and relevant background documents.
You will maintain detailed obligations, expenditures, reports, and current status of funds.
You will plan and distribute work to section personnel.
You will provide performance management input for personnel.
You will monitor and report on the status and progress of work.
You will resolve simple, informal complaints of employees and refer others (formal grievances and appeals) to the supervisor or an appropriate management official.
