Job Description:
You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the AUKUS Integration and Acquisition (I&A) office of AUKUS INTEGRATION AND ACQUISITION.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: "Leading acquisition, policy or program requirements to meet overall security goals for a submarine program." You will serve as the primary advisor to the AUKUS I/A International Policy Manager, provide strategic analysis and recommendations on DoD, Navy, OSD, and U.S. DoS policies, legislation, and regulations affecting AUKUS initiatives.
You will oversee and maintain expertise in U.S. export control laws, including the AECA, ITAR, and EAR, ensuring all AUKUS policy actions comply with applicable legal frameworks.
You will conduct policy research/analysis on AUKUS initiatives and National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) provisions, to align with U.S. national security objectives.
You will lead the development of briefing materials, talking points, and read-ahead documents for senior leadership, including DRPM AUKUS I/A, DoD, and DON principals, ensuring decision-makers have accurate and up-to-date policy insights.
You will coordinate with international stakeholders, DoD agencies, foreign embassy personnel, and industry partners to support technology security, policy alignment, and international collaboration efforts for AUKUS implementation.
You will lead policy training and education efforts within AUKUS I/A, ensuring personnel remain informed of U.S. security cooperation, export control policies, and interagency coordination processes that impact AUKUS objectives.
