Job Description:
You will serve as a Physical Security Specialist in the Executive Support Staff, Security Support Office of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and interpreting policies, procedures and regulations for planning, development and implementation of Physical and Industrial Security programs. You will serve as a technical advisor on Physical Security rules, regulations and procedures for PSNS and IMF as well as tenant commands, ships force and contractor personnel.
You will interpret and apply higher authority guidelines on all phases of physical security disciplines for local implementation.
You will conduct physical security surveys and inspections.
You will inspect protective barriers, lighting, intrusion detection systems and other access control systems to ensure they meet established requirements.
You will review military construction drawings for compliance with security requirements.
You will prepare written documents on physical security policies, procedures and issues for publication and distribution throughout command.
You will be responsible for administrating security requirements and classification guidance for command classified contracts.
