Job Description:

You will serve as a SENIOR DESIGN SUPPORT ENGINEER/ARCHITECT in the DESIGN DIVISION of the PLANNING, DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION DIRECTORATE of NAVFAC OSF.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:1) Advanced concepts, principles and practices in architecture and engineering to identify, coordinate, and integrate various engineering, architecture and other related disciplines necessary to deliver high-quality design and construction projects; 2) Applying knowledge of construction regulations and procedures to make engineering determinations with regard to design, planning and construction execution; 3) Review and analyze design & construction metrics for areas such as schedule growth, cost growth, and timely closeout of active contracts and task orders; 4) Perform Design Assist Visits to validate, document deficiencies, and track completion of action items as well to evaluate Architectural & Engineering (AE) firms as well as contractor submissions.
