To qualify for a Supervisory General Supply Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Directs the work performed by administrative and support position within the distribution center to assure the accuracy and accountability of inventory documents and support systems which affect all aspects of the Distribution and Supply management processes. Responsible for ensuring the maintenance and administration of an inventory Accuracy Program is accomplished. Responsible for the oversight of regulations and internal policies of an inventory program. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Serves as the Accountable Officer (AO) for DLA Distribution Puget Sound, responsible for ensuring maintenance and administration of the Distribution Center's Inventory Accuracy Program is accomplished.
Perform Studies and system reviews for the DOC (Defense Distribution Center) inventory program to make improvements to the accuracy of the physical balance records.
Develop Plan of Action (POAM) for the center to ensure performance goals are achieved, problem areas are identified and marked for improvement and that the inventory program requirements are met.
Provides analysis of the location survey program effectiveness; develops and submits mandatory reports and serves as a signing authority for causative research vouchers.
Establishes, monitors, and reports on Inventory Quality Control Program.
Serves as the Center Coordinator and point of contact for internal and external audits.
