About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), Office of the Commander - Command Surgeon.

BASIC QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: Must have a Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS listed below: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GG/GS-14 grade level in the Federal service which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: serving as a consultant and subject matter expert for psychological and behavioral health issues across a large enterprise; providing psychological training, mentoring and support on relevant clinical, personnel and management matters as they pertain to overall wellness; Developing and implementing Behavioral Health policy; and Running, evaluating and developing programs involving prevention and treatment of psychological problems that affect training, Soldier readiness, and Soldier health promotion. Serves as the INSCOM Command Psychologist with responsibility for technical oversight of INSCOM behavioral health programming, consulting on behavioral health Readiness, policy, and procedures.
Serves as Director of the Clinical and Organizational Behavioral Health providers. Oversees, guides, develops, informs, and advises on clinical interventions for Service Members.
Provides training, conducts onboarding, ensures credentialing, and develops INSCOM policies and standard operating procedures for the clinical providers, ensuring compliance with DHA, The Joint Commission (TJC), and MTF guidance.
Overseas the Organizational Psychologists, reviewing trends and providing guidance for training, onboarding, and education for INSCOM and MSCs.
Serves as the INSCOM SME for psychological health, advising the Command Surgeon on all aspects of behavioral health care for both military and civilian practice settings including suicide prevention, intervention, and both pre and postvention.
