Job Description:

You will serve as a FINANICAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Comptroller Directorate of SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING BATH. You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. Salary Range by Grade Level: GS-09: $69,213 to $89,975 GS-11: $83,742 - $108,859
For the GS-11 Grade Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector conducting financial planning, budget analysis, or costs and economic analysis to provide recommendations for organizational programs. For the GS-09 Grade Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing analysis of financial reports to identify problems or maintain data integrity for organizational programs. You will analyze, evaluate and review budget and program issues and financial data and report using business tools and applications, cost and economic analysis, and performance metrics to provide recommendations.
You will utilize integrated federal financial management systems and sub-systems to extract data, identify and resolve system problems, and maintain data integrity.
You will apply fiscal law, policies, regulations, principles, standards, and procedures to financial management activities.
You will demonstrate skills in using job-relevant information systems and/or software applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, automated research tools, database applications, and the Internet.
You will develop, determine and interpret budgetary policies and practices.
You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities.
