Job Description:
You will serve as an INTEGRATED READINESS ANALYST in the COMUSFLTFORCOM NORVA of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience conducting independent actions in support of annual schedules and the execution of recurring information and decision brief cycles. Experience directing an event planning team and executing Flag level events. Experience formulating game plans to manage the competing demands of multiple stakeholders. Experience researching Navy requirements for future capabilities and budgets. Experience Analyzing reports related to Navy Warfare Enterprise strategies and Navy readiness reporting. Experience utilizing online databases to track the completion status of tasks from CNO to Fleet Commanders and from Fleet Commanders to subordinate staff. You will coordinate all briefer and participant schedules, and are responsible for all email, audio visual, electronic, and hardcopy support.
You will support Fleet readiness policy development, processes, assessments, and decisions.
You will manage the programs for Fleet Readiness Boards and for Fleet Commanders’ Readiness Councils.
You will cover Air, Surface, Subsurface, Expeditionary, Cyber, Log, Intel, Manpower, and Comptroller realms.
You will assist with developing readiness metrics methodologies and hierarchies.
You will leverage subject matter experts across all Navy Enterprises.
You will develop Fleet Forces risk assessments, mitigations and briefs for Flag level working groups, monthly SES decision board and Fleet Readiness Board (FRB), Fleet Commanders Readiness Council (FCRC) and Chief of Naval Operations briefings.
You will serve as a subject matter expert, recommending strategy and providing guidance and integrated solutions that align with the command’s operational readiness.
You will be the lead author for pre-event executive summaries, and post event memorandums on Fleet commander decision briefs.
