Job Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the Business and Financial Management Team of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying financial management (FM) processes and techniques, while also performing supervisory duties to include interpretation of laws and regulations. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will apply Financial Management processes and techniques, as well as the ability to assist and lead other in the field.
You will demonstrate leadership skills in interpreting FM policies and regulations, and in the application of organizational strategic goals.
You will accountable for ensuring that employees have the necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs), training, work processes, and tools to deliver the required products and professional services needed by the competency customers.
You will provide leadership in the areas of policy, best practices, process standardization, common tools, community management, Competency development, and situational awareness of Competency requirements.
You will diagnose performance situations and uses appropriate leadership interventions to guide, coach, counsel and reward employees.
You will appropriately apply procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies related to specialized expertise. Understands linkages between administrative competencies and mission needs.
You will provide management an interpretation of the laws, regulations, and various directives pertaining to appropriations, funds usage, and overall program planning and development, and the ability to apply financial policy to all levels of work.
You will identify and keep up to date on key national and international policies and economic, political, and social trends that affect the organization.
