Job Description:
You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the COMMAND OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN EAST. Resumes are restricted to no more than 2 pages. Illegible/unreadable resumes will not be considered.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing plans and strategies for the internal and external integration of day-to-day, and long range projects, actions, and activities within the Command; 2) Managing staff actions, determining statuses, prioritizing events, and providing comprehensive status briefs to upper management; 3) Planning and coordinating the work of lower level workers, which accomplishes a variety or program planning, development, and execution of operational activities; 4) Serving as the central control point for all correspondence coming into and going out of the office, while ensuring correspondence is accurate; 5) Analyzing and evaluating issues that are typically diverse in nature. You will be responsible for building team rapport and synergy to create and maintain a positive, motivational climate.
You will exercise broad managerial and administrative control over all elements of the department and are responsible for assuring FRC East customer requirements are satisfied.
You will participate in conferences with the other department heads in studying and developing recommendations concerning changes in Command Operations processes and policy requirements.
You will determine manpower needs by general schedule series and grade, including prevailing rate employees and initiates actions to recruit, reassign, or train personnel to meet staffing requirements.
