Job Description:

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Overseeing the preparation of issuing and tracking security access badges; 2) Training and reviewing work of security assistants within the assigned office; 3) Distributing and balance workload of security assistants, keeping in touch with the status and progress of the work; and 4) Verifying eligibility and confirming the need for access badge. NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position. This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination. You will oversee preparation of issuing and tracking access badges.
You will process and adjudicate documents for base access.
You will receive calls, greet visitors, and direct to appropriate office or person.
You will train and review work of security assistants within the assigned office.
You will distribute and balance workload of security assistants, keeping in touch with the status and progress of the work, estimating and reporting on expected time of completion of the work, and providing instructions to other employees.
