Job Description:

You will serve as an ELECTRONICS ENGINEER in the E3 Aircraft Engineering Branch, Systems Engineering Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) grade level or (DP-04) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing authoritative input and advice on all engineering and technical issues and ensuring engineering requirements are met; 2) Developing project-planning objectives for engineering development of current and long range programs; 3) Performing or directing technical analyses required during the development phase; 4) Assisting in the preparation, planning and development of integrated logistics support plans for assigned systems; 5) Maintaining continuous contact with research and development personnel in order to be informed on all new engineering and scientific developments of assigned systems; 6) Organizing and performing technical reviews to ensure adequate resources for assigned systems. You will serve as a Next Gen Jammer/Lead Platform Engineer in the E3 Aircraft Engineering Branch under the E3 Engineering Division as part of the overall Systems Engineering Department.
You will apply expert E3 engineering knowledge to the Next Gen Jammer and Strike platforms in order to establish technical requirements, ensure consistent E3 policies, and resolve EMI discoveries within the program.
You will provide guidance to other engineers within the E3 Aircraft Engineering Branch for the mitigation of strike platform electromagnetic interference (EMI) throughout the acquisition cycle.
You will coordinate the efforts of a variety of journeyman-level engineers and senior technical experts within the Branch and contractor E3 teams on the Next Gen Jammer and other strike programs involving multi-division or multi-site participation.
You will coordinate efforts both vertically and horizontally throughout the organization, interfacing with associates and leadership to exchange ideas and information to ensure consistency across the organization in policies and procedures.
You will carry out leadership special assignments that cross other sites and competencies NAVAIR-wide, requiring a high level of management and E3 technical expertise.
You will represent the E3 Aircraft Engineering Branch, the E3 Engineering Division, Systems Engineering Department, and NAVAIR at conferences, meetings, and/or other formal gatherings on matters related to E3 Engineering.
You will provide inputs for the development and implementation of executable national-level long-term integrated strategic business and technology plans, policies, guidance, and metrics for the Branch within the framework of mission objectives.
