Job Description:

You will serve as a COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND NETWORKS T&E SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT in the NAVAL TEST WING ATLANTIC MISSION SYSTEMS T&E DEPTDEPT INTEROP NTWKS & ADV TECHN EVAL T&E DIV COMMUNICATION SYS & NETWORKS T&E BR NAVTESTWINGLANT NWCF PAX RVR MD 20670 of NAVTESTWINGLANT NWCF.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DP-04 (GS-13/14) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: - Understanding systems engineering and techniques for management of RF and antennas development support efforts - Supporting airborne antenna concepts, RF concepts, operational capabilities/limitations and the ability to recommend how they should be employed by fleet users. The incumbent must be able to assess performance requirements against operational requirements and accurately provide mission relation. - Verifying government acquisition and contract policies, rules, and regulations and forecasting previously unforeseen requirements, interrelationships, and military effects of systems. -Formulating, directing, interpreting, and applying test planning, policy, and strategy to ensure scientific validity, adequacy, and efficiency of ground and flight test projects. - Applying new developments or experimental theory to problems or situations not covered by accepted or conventional techniques. You will support Naval Test Wing Atlantic policies, processes, and operating procedures in the areas of test planning, test execution, test reporting, and test management.
You will apply general interoperability requirements and be able to identify most favorable antenna locations to minimize interference between aircraft installed systems.
