This position is located at Fort Leonard Wood Pools. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. **This announcement is open and continuous; closing 12/29/2025 or until the position is filled. Bi-weekly reviews and lists will be sent to management starting 8 October 2025; additional lists may be sent at management request.**

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Possesses and maintains the following certifications: Lifeguarding and First Aid (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Star Guard, YMCA, or ELLIS). American Red Cross "Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional. CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED or equivalent (American Heart Association CPR/AED). **You will be rated based solely off of the information provided within your resume, please ensure you are clear and specific. Tactfully warns patrons who repeatedly disregard safety rules and follow facility Standard Operating Procedures for disciplinary actions. Assists with scheduling of employees, the operation of the pool, and performs water tests.
Assist in coaching or preparing the competitive and non-competitive swimming programs as required. Assist with the operation of the pool, oversees the work of assigned lifeguards and monitors compliance with facility policies.
Under direction of the pool supervisor, employ safety rules for the protection of the guest. Responsible for life guarding guest in attendance at the assigned aquatic facility. Issues towels and checks identification as required.
Rescues swimmers and administers first aid as required. Responsible for assisting in the conduct of aquatic swimming and water survival training according to tC21-21. Maintains daily logs and records as required.
Attend aquatics and/or safety training as directed. Ensures maintaining pool and area is clean and free from any hazards. Provides information to swimmers regarding safety rules and procedures.
