For the Redstone Arsenal, AL Location: $129,690 to $195,200 (includes 21.91% locality) For the Fort Belvoir, VA and/or Dahlgren Location: $142,488-$195,200 (includes 33.94% locality)
You may qualify at the NH-04, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03/GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience (SE) statements will allow for applicants to meet at least three (3) of the SE criteria rather than all inclusive: Demonstrated experience in applying concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations governing financial management and acquisition process. Demonstrated experience assessing program execution of budgetary resources and evaluation of submitted funding actions to ensure compliance with statutory /regulatory "Purpose," "Time," and "Amount" requirements. Demonstrated knowledge in analyzing budget impacts on programs. Demonstrated experience researching and analyzing data, developing alternatives, and making recommendations to resolve execution budget problems. Experience working with Special Access Programs.
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Acq Demo Business and Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. As a Budget Analyst at the NH-0560-4 broadband level some of your typical work assignments may include: Provide authoritative advice on all aspects of financial management and policy. Build and defend program budget exhibits, respond to requests for information. Formulate, justify, and execute the agency budget for multiple appropriations. Review, analyze, consolidate and revise budget estimates, justification statements and budget execution plans. Assess program execution of budgetary resources and evaluation of submitted funding actions to ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory "Purpose," "Time," and "Amount" requirements. Conduct studies and analyses of financial execution of programs, projects and tasks. Recommend and/or implement remedial action to correct adverse trends and situations. Develop financial instructions and internal controls for Special Programs. Make appropriate adjustments to current-year accounts and future-year budgets. Support financial system integrity by resolving unmatched disbursements (UMDs); resolving database errors; reconcile agency database statuses.
