You will serve as an IT Specialist (INFOSEC) in the Cyber Department of NAWCTSD ORLANDO.
Your resume must demonstrate At least one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Reviewing projects for appropriate mitigation strategies and performing appropriate testing to determine that controls are met. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Conveying the customer's interests/concerns/priorities while participating actively with professional peers in the development/refinement of IA implementing directives. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Providing guidance on implementation of new/revised policies/processes that may be associated with such initiatives, and marshals resources to ensure timely/appropriate response. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Coordinating/providing guidance for the analysis/implementation of actions to counter suspected or anticipated intrusions into communications networks. In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume demonstrates at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/12 grade level or DS-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing leadership to Cybersecurity personnel within the Integrated Product Team (IPT)/Labs; 2) Planning and formulating concepts, policy, techniques and procedures, instructions, certifications, standards, and criteria appropriate to the effective implementation and management of the Cybersecurity program; 3) Ensuring Cybersecurity requirements are fully integrated into all phases of the acquisition, upgrade, or modification programs, including initial design, development, testing, fielding, and operation/sustainment; 4) Providing customers with information/analytical support/guidance on Cybersecurity requirements; and 5) Planning and conducting Cybersecurity continuous monitoring and analysis to ensure systems maintain acceptable level of cybersecurity posture. You will promote/integrate CS methods/techniques into all aspects of operations.
You will provide customers with information/analytical support/guidance on CS requirements for proposed IT acquisitions from earliest stages of development, through the acquisition milestone process and follow-on support.
You will collaborate with acquisition team members in comprehensive assessment of system design/operations/installations to identify and document security vulnerabilities and the methods employed to eliminate or mitigate them.
You will convey the customer’s interests/concerns/priorities while participating actively with AD professional peers in the development/refinement of IA implementing directives.
You will prepare and submit reports of IAVM implementation compliance or assists the customer in preparing waiver requests (including risk assessments and mitigation plans) in accordance with deadlines set for each IAVM tasking.
