MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 36 months experience, education, or training identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks, and complying with regulations, laws, or practices.
Position Description #D2059000 This position is located in the S-4 section of Brigade/Group/Troop Command. The purpose of this position is to function as the Senior Logistics NCO of the organization responsible for oversight and execution of logistics plans, activities, and actions. Performs other duties as assigned. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (1) As the subject matter expert for logistics, develops, implements and evaluates the logistic goals and priorities for the organization. Advises the command in the area of logistics operations. Oversees and reviews unit level feeder reports. (2) Ensures compliance with the command supply discipline program, command maintenance discipline program, and other directed command inspection programs. (3) Provides guidance and management for all decentralized logistic funds. (4) Provides technical guidance and assistance to all organizational logistic personnel pertaining to the accountability of all property assigned to the organization. (5) May be required to represent the National Guard and the unit Commander in the community.
