The role
reports to the Head of SWE and is responsible for managing 5+ Firmware
engineers while also
performing hands-on technical work and coding as required.
In your role as Firmware Engineering Manager at Kohler Ventures you will
Work directly with the Head of Software, software engineering team, and product teams.Firmware Development Lifecycle Management: Oversee the firmware development process, including design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Firmware Engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence and innovation.Project Management: Ensure timely delivery of firmware projects with a focus on quality and performance.Hands-on technical work: Build firmware that can scale with the business growth of Kohler Ventures.Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate effective communication between the firmware engineering team and other departments, translating complex firmware concepts into actionable business strategies.Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous testing protocols to ensure firmware reliability and performance.
