This position serves as a Pipefitter in an extremely complex medical facility, which is constantly evolving within a highly complex and competitive geographic area.

SCREEN-OUT ELEMENT: Your qualifications will first be evaluated against the prescribed screen out element, which usually appears as question 1 in the on-line questionnaire. Duties include, but are not limited to: Planning and lying out the work, determining the needed routing placement, pitch, incline or elevation of the equipment. Select the proper piping, valves, fittings and other parts necessary for the work. Keeping abreast of new safe practices as developed. Skilled in the use of tools of the trade such as sliding squares, hand and power pipe threaders and cutters, sewer cleaning machines, measuring tapes, plumb bobs, and pipe wrenches. Ability and knowledge to repair or install fixtures such as toilet, sinks and to repair same. Work involves standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in tiring or uncomfortable positions. Frequently lifts and carries parts and equipment up to 50lbs. with occasional lifting and carrying over 50lbs.
