This position is located at Yuma Proving Ground, AZ. This is a "Flexible" position (0-40 hours) with no eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Experience, education and/or specialized training sufficient to demonstrate knowledge and skill in: -Systems administration concepts and methods -Analytical methods; -It security principals; and-Performance monitoring methods.
Under the lead of a full performance specialist, performs highly structured entry-level work assignments designed to develop broader and more in-depth knowledge and skill needed to perform higher-level assignments.
Using acceptable systems administration methods and procedures monitors and troubleshoots systems availability.
Uses a number of guidelines that are directly applicable to the assignment. Applies system administration methods and procedures; performance monitoring methods; and analytical methods to verify security, operability and functionality.
Runs systems backups, file restoration and systems recovery. Serves as a member of a team responsible for planning and managing large-scale server deployment. Recognizes and refers problems to more experienced specialists.
Applies information security and information assurance policy, principles, and practices.
