You will serve as a PUBLIC AFFAIR SPECIALIST for Small Business Administration (SBA), Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience (ODR&R), Field Operations Center East in Atlanta, GA and Field Operations Center West in Citrus Heights, CA. Federal status applicants must meet both Time-In-Grade AND experience requirements by the closing date of this announcement. However, if you have separated from the Federal Government for at least 52 weeks, you are not subject to the Time-in-Grade requirement. In addition, this Specialized Experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in creating engaging content (text, image, graphics and video) to be shared across social media channels to drive engagement and build brand awareness; AND Experience using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, iMovie, or Final Cut Pro to create engaging video content for social media; AND Planning, organizing, and preparing written communications, such as press releases, presentations, articles, photos, flyers, etc. for dissemination to various types of media outlets, social media platforms, brochures and periodicals. Monitoring newspaper, radio, television, and internet coverage of the disaster program and provide supplemental information to correct any irregular or inaccurate media information. Creating scripts, digital tiles, and videos to create engaging content to be shared across multiple social media channels.
