You will perform continuous visual inspection looking for cables out of place, structural damage, and electrical arcing.
You will inspect and repair guy anchor ground, check the guy tension, check tower profiles, and adjust the 26’ tall tower guy tensions and tower profiles.
You will clean and coat the 612 guy (430,000 LF) ranging from 1 to 3 1/8-inch diameter, supporting the 26’ tall tower.
You will change the oil in gear boxes, grease hoist spindles, grease hoist, inspect hoist drums and change gear lubricant.
You will replace defective jumpers in the cross-arm section, inspect, and repair through bushing.
You will inspect and repair 12 VLF tophat panels, 12 VLF downlead systems by lowering, painting, and wire brushing.
You will inspect and repair the 2200 miles of wire grounding system, spread over 3,000 acres, by checking ground continuity, and locating breaks with a metal detector.
