Key Responsibilities:
Lead supply planning for cloud infrastructure components – compute nodes, storage arrays, networking gear, racks, power/cooling systems.
Translate cloud project roadmaps and capacity plans into accurate infrastructure forecasts.
Collaborate with capacity planning and engineering teams to support new region builds and infrastructure upgrades.
Drive procurement and fulfillment strategies for long-lead items and constrained components.
Partner with suppliers and OEMs to monitor production schedules, lead times, and delivery performance.
Coordinate closely with logistics and deployment teams to ensure on-time availability of materials at cloud data center locations globally.
Manage inventory levels and replenishment strategies to support availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain due to market fluctuations, geopolitical constraints, or component shortages
Align with engineering team through execution and continuous improvement on the supplier selection process.
