Job Description:

You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (CUSTOMER SUPPORT/NETWORK) in the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION, CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NT-04 or grade level (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading classified spillage investigations and coordinating cybersecurity incident response operations to provide executive advisory services to leadership on cybersecurity posture, IT modernization initiatives, and risk management strategies. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. You will serve as Lead Information Technology Specialist and Cybersecurity Officer.
You will coordinate cybersecurity incident response operations, directing threat assessment, containment protocols, and recovery procedures.
You will manage Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes for IT systems, including security control implementation and continuous monitoring.
You will oversee Authority to Operate (ATO) lifecycle management, processing security authorization documentation and maintaining accreditation status.
You will execute classified information spillage investigations, implement immediate containment measures, coordinate asset sanitization, and ensure timely reporting to appropriate authorities.
You will develop and implement strategic IT plans and cybersecurity frameworks aligned with organizational mission requirements.
You will manage technology procurement lifecycle, conducting security assessments and approval processes for IT equipment, software, and services acquisitions.
