THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST - TITLE 32, Position Description Number PDD1414P03 and is part of the KY 123 AW, National Guard. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: Experience involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 36 months experience identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks, and complying with regulations, laws, or practices. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST - TITLE 32, GS-0346-12, you will manage, direct, and implement installation deployment guidance based on regulations, manuals, instructions, and directives issued by higher headquarters. Serve as the Installation Deployment Officer (IDO), and act for the Commander, regarding actions required to deploy in support of Aerospace Expeditionary Forces (AEF), contingency operations, Operations Other Than War (OOTW), and exercises. Identify all required deployment/redeployment support with the Wing Staff Air Mobility/Command (AMC) and Air Combat Command (ACC) regarding the transportation of equipment and personnel. Plan, develop and conduct deployment training for the wing and units, including course development and approval. Assist units by providing guidance and conducting staff assistance visits to identify, correct, and assist with deployment problems. Review Operation Plans (OPLANS), Concept Plans (CONPLANS), Concept of Operations (CONOP); and USAF Special Operations, Exercise, and Exercise Order plans received from and directed by higher headquarters (or locally generated) to determine overall wing and unit tasking. Manage the wing support agreement program for the Commander. Negotiate, write, coordinate, and monitor Inter/Intra Service Support agreements; memorandums of understanding/agreement; disposal and contingency agreements; and exercise and deployment agreements.
