Specialized experience is defined as: performing analysis of financial programs and policies to ensure continuity of operations; providing solutions to financial problems ensuring compliance with financial legislation; or, managing multiple high priority financial related projects, briefings, objectives through collaboration with other supervisors, both internally and externally to their organization. Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-12 or higher grade in Federal Service. You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
Serves as a special assistant and advisor to a Director.
Acts on Director’s behalf in responding to inquiries made to Director’s level and in participating in meetings, briefings, and conferences.
Oversees projects for corporate performance improvements.
Conducts analyses and studies at that request of the Director.
Participates with the Director and Directorate Chiefs in developing long-range plans for the organization.
